Four-model lineup covers micro FPV, racing, camera, cruising and heavy-lift UAV applications
DONGGUAN, China, September 25, 2026 — Kpower, a national high-tech enterprise with 20 years of micro-drive engineering, 160+ patents and a monthly capacity of 780,000 drive units, today announced a new drone motor lineup covering UAV power requirements from 5 grams to 650 grams. The four-model series provides brushless motor options for applications ranging from micro and indoor FPV builds to camera platforms, agricultural aircraft and other heavy-lift UAV applications.
The Kpower UAV Motor Lineup: Four Motors, Four Power Bands
The Kpower lineup breaks drone motor selection down into four power bands, from 5 grams to 650 grams.
1203: Micro FPV Drone Motor (5g, 7000KV)
The 1203 weighs 5 grams and has a 7000KV rating for 2–3S packs. The motor is designed for micro and indoor builds where weight is an important consideration.
2208: Freestyle and Racing (32.6g, 1890KV)
The 2208 weighs 32.6 grams and is designed for freestyle and racing frames using 5–6S packs, where response and weight are key considerations.
2810: Camera Platforms and Cruising (32.6g, 1350KV)
The 2810 also weighs 32.6 grams and uses a lower 1350KV rating. Kpower positions the motor for slightly larger props and steady, efficient cruising on camera platforms.
5330: Heavy-Lift UAV Motor (650g, 210KV)
The 5330 weighs 650 grams and has a 210KV rating. According to Kpower, the motor reaches 3,600W and nearly 12kg of peak thrust on 12S packs, covering applications including agriculture and delivery.
Full specifications and mounting drawings are available through Kpower's UAV motor product resources, with a dedicated product page for the 5330.
Brushless Motors for Different UAV Applications
All four motors in the new lineup are brushless. Brushless motors use electronic switching rather than physical brushes, a design Kpower says can support efficiency and durability under sustained operating conditions.
Kpower's engineering work focuses on areas including magnetic circuits, winding quality and cogging torque. The company also provides customized drive solutions for customers requiring different shaft diameters, power levels or mounting sizes.
Different UAV applications require different motor characteristics. FPV freestyle and racing can prioritize response and low weight, while aerial photography and mapping can place greater emphasis on smoothness and endurance. Agriculture and delivery applications can require thrust and reliability in demanding environments, while inspection and rescue aircraft can require stable hover performance and redundancy.
Agriculture Applications
Agricultural spraying places specific demands on UAV motors because equipment can operate in conditions involving pesticides, dust and high humidity.
Kpower's AG5013 plunger pump motor, which the company builds for DJI agricultural drones, provides IP67 protection and, according to Kpower, a 200% increase in power density compared with the previous generation. The company says experience in these operating environments informs its approach to thrust, protection and motor lifespan.
The Engineering Behind the Lineup
Kpower operates two R&D centers with more than 80 engineers, representing approximately a quarter of its 400+ employees, and holds more than 160 patents and IPs.
Its integrated drive-control approach combines motor, gearbox and controller in a single module. Kpower says the design can cut a customer's development cycle in half.
The company operates from a 47,000-square-meter production base with a monthly capacity of 780,000 units. Kpower says the same production capabilities serving more than 500 enterprise clients in more than 50 countries are also available to drone builders seeking standard and customized motors.
Samples, Lead Time and Technical Support
Kpower offers free samples for functional verification to leading industry customers and ships standard products within 48 hours of order confirmation, according to the company.
The company's engineers can also assist with motor selection based on a customer's frame, battery, propellers and target payload.
Kpower's website is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean and other languages9 (https://www.kpower.com/), with the company serving customers in more than 50 countries.
“There is no one-size-fits-all drone motor, only the combination that fits your mission and budget. What we want is to cover all the combinations, publish the specs clearly, and let people who come looking for a motor waste a little less time,” said a Kpower product lead.
“Two decades into this industry, we have watched drone performance and cost push each other to the limit. What Kpower can do is keep making the motors solid, so more aircraft can get off the ground,” said a Kpower executive.
